Markforged D2 Tool Steel is a cold work tool steel defined by its extremely high hardness after heat treatment. It offers excellent wear resistance and is widely used in applications that require high compressive strength, sharp edges, and abrasion resistance. Markforged D2 Tool Steel is harder and more wear-resistant, but less tough than A2 Tool Steel.
